Saks Fifth Avenue — Greenwich, CT: Store Merchandising Associate. Onsite role supporting merchandise processing, presentation and fulfillment. Pay $19.61–$24.51/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and prepare product for selling floor placement according to store standards.
- Place and present merchandise on the selling floor, adhering to visual and merchandising guidelines.
- Support daily floor recovery, supply replenishment and ad hoc store initiatives during peak periods.
- Locate and retrieve merchandise to fulfill customer orders and complete in-store or phone-based requests.
- Deliver prompt, professional customer service and escalate customer needs when appropriate.
- Operate inventory and fulfillment technologies (e.g., RF guns) to maintain accurate stock records.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and handle racks and carts of merchandise.
- Demonstrable competence with merchandising and visual presentation standards.
- Strong computer literacy, including use of RF handhelds, PC and iOS devices, and Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Dependable with ability to meet deadlines, multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work a flexible schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle when required (select doors only).
Skills
Experience
Previous retail, stockroom or merchandising experience preferred; experience with inventory processing and in-store fulfillment is advantageous. Entry-level candidates with strong aptitude and a customer-oriented mindset will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
