Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate store opening procedures, including vault and register operations, cash reconciliation, and daily report distribution
- Supervise SOA team in daily operational functions including morning cash entry, bank deposit processing, chargeback reconciliation, and petty cash counting
- Act as escalation specialist for customer and internal issues requiring resolution
- Implement and train jewelry standards and shipping guidelines; make recommendations to improve operational processes and maintain inventory accuracy
- Receive, verify, and ensure proper booking of all jewelry merchandise in accordance with company standards
- Supervise processing of re-tickets, RTVs, transfers, Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), and price changes
- Oversee retrieval and processing of merchandise returns and transfers to vendors
- Ensure case counts are completed and all merchandise discrepancies are reconciled within the case count system
- Maintain and audit repair logs, track vendor and local shop repairs, and submit repair invoices
- Receive and verify merchandise for trunk shows, assist in setup and takedown, and manage consignment merchandise lifecycle
- Ensure SOA team prepares and submits special order requests and oversee jewelry fulfillment
- Manage returns desk operations, resolve customer issues, oversee associate scheduling, and maintain 95%+ return transfer compliance
- Monitor vault and safe contents for internal audit readiness and adherence to audit standards
- Support cross-functional training initiatives with the Store General Manager and corporate team
- Assist in policy implementation and best practices; make recommendations to management
- Partner proactively with management on weekly and monthly workload planning
- Motivate team to achieve results and provide recommendations for hiring, termination, and promotion decisions
- Assist managers and associates on the selling floor as needed
- Follow up on reporting, outstanding invoices, and escalated issues to resolution
Qualifications
- Ability to drive profitability through execution of SOA KPIs
- Comfortable with real-time coaching and working closely with Associates, Store Leadership, and cross-functional Corporate partners
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring strong multi-tasking skills with minimal supervision
- Capacity to work flexible schedules as per business needs while maintaining dependability standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to influence team compliance with store policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective telephone and face-to-face interaction abilities

- Capability to lift cartons up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise

Skills
Experience
3–5 years of experience in luxury retail operations, with demonstrated supervisory or lead experience in cash handling, inventory management, or specialized operations roles. Previous experience in jewelry retail or high-value merchandise handling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; some college coursework or retail management certification preferred.
