Role & Responsibilities
- Open store daily: secure safe, controller, registers, and distribute reports
- Process morning cash entry, bank deposits, chargebacks reconciliation, and register/petty cash counts
- Resolve customer issues including payment research, bill processing, and package tracking
- Receive, verify, and book all jewelry merchandise in accordance with Company standards
- Process re-tickets, RTVs, transfers, ASN shipments, and price changes
- Retrieve and process merchandise returns and transfers to vendors
- Complete case counts, enter merchandise into case count system, and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain repair logs, track vendor/local shop repairs, and submit repair invoices
- Coordinate trunk shows: receive and verify merchandise, assist setup/takedown, recap results
- Prepare and submit special order requests and Statements of Sale
- Communicate with Corporate Merchants, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, and vendors
- Ensure Internal Audit readiness and maintain vault/safe contents documentation
- Assist selling floor managers and associates as needed
- Process fulfillment orders and complete ad hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise
- Strong computer skills including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office with adaptability to evolving technology
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring multitasking with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work variable schedules per business needs while maintaining dependability standards
- Demonstrated attention to detail with organized personal workspace
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for telephone and face-to-face interactions
- Ability to apply store policies and procedures to decision-making
- Maintenance of confidentiality when handling sensitive issues
