Role & Responsibilities

• Operate the store general office: open/close procedures, safe and register management, morning cash entry, bank deposits and petty cash reconciliation.
• Process and reconcile financial transactions including chargebacks, register counts and resolution of customer billing issues.
• Maintain audit readiness: monitor vault/safe contents, adhere to internal audit standards and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Execute jewelry department operations: receive, verify and book incoming jewelry per company standards; follow shipping and handling guidelines.
• Process jewelry-related transactions: re-ticketing, RTVs, transfers, ASN shipments, price changes and vendor returns.
• Maintain repair logs and coordinate repairs with vendors or local shops; process repair invoices and special order documentation including Statements of Sale.
• Support trunk show logistics: receive merchandise, assist in set-up/takedown and document results.
• Process fulfillment orders and assist selling floor managers and associates as required.
• Serve as a point of contact with corporate merchants, accounts payable, inventory control and vendors for operational matters.
• Perform ad hoc store initiatives and projects assigned by management while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders and maneuver racks/carts of merchandise.
• Strong computer proficiency with Google (Workspace) and Microsoft Office; adaptable to evolving retail technology.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain audit-ready records and secure handling of high-value merchandise.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions with customers, vendors and corporate partners.
• Flexible availability to meet business needs and adherence to dependability standards.
• Demonstrated discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive issues.

Skills

Experience

Typically 1+ years of retail operations, inventory control or jewelry operations experience preferred, with demonstrated cash-handling and fulfillment or back-office transaction experience.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.05 to USD 21.32 per hour.
