Role & Responsibilities
- Open and close store general office functions: prepare safe/controller/registers, distribute daily reports and complete morning cash entry.
- Perform cash handling and reconciliation tasks including processing bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, counting registers and managing petty cash.
- Resolve internal and external customer issues related to billing, package tracking and order research; process fulfillment orders and special order requests.
- Receive, verify and book jewelry per company standards; follow jewelry shipping guidelines and maintain vendor/vendor-return processes.
- Process re-ticketing, RTVs, transfers, ASN shipments and price changes; ensure timely case counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain repair logs, track repairs sent to vendors or local shops and submit repair invoices; support trunk show logistics, set-up and reconciliation.
- Maintain internal audit readiness for vault/safe contents and adhere to Internal Audit standards; communicate with corporate merchants, accounts payable and inventory control as needed.
- Provide ad hoc support to selling floor managers and associates and participate in other store initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or retail certifications preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs, climb ladders and handle racks/carts of merchandise.
- Proven competence with cash handling, register reconciliation and basic financial controls.
- Strong verbal and written communication; professional telephone and face-to-face customer interactions.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.

Experience
Preferably 1+ years of retail operations or jewelry/merchandise operations experience; prior exposure to luxury retail standards, trunk shows or jewelry handling strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or business coursework preferred.
