Saks Fifth Avenue seeks a Selling Advisor — Men's in Sarasota, FL. Frontline retail role focused on clienteling, product expertise and exceeding sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service and develop long-term client relationships to maximize lifetime value.
- Implement consultative selling techniques and consistent selling behaviours to meet and exceed individual and store sales plans.
- Proactively build and maintain a clientele through outreach, follow-up and in-store events.
- Maintain deep product knowledge of men’s apparel and accessory assortments and act as the in-store product expert.
- Collaborate with vendor partners to create sales opportunities, support brand events and enhance client engagement.
- Perform ad hoc store responsibilities to support overall store operations and client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven sales track record in retail, preferably within luxury or premium apparel.
- Demonstrable clienteling and relationship-building skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Passion for and knowledge of men’s fashion; ability to act as a trusted style advisor.
- Goal-driven, dependable and able to elevate team performance.
- Comfort working collaboratively with vendor partners and participating in brand-led events.
Skills
Experience
Experience in frontline retail sales with evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets; prior experience in luxury or multi-brand retail and involvement in client development and brand/vendor events is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in fashion, merchandising or business is a plus.
Workplace
This position is based in Sarasota, Florida, USA, within easy reach of Tampa.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 13 to USD 18 per hour.
