Saks Fifth Avenue is hiring a Selling Advisor — Contemporary in Beverly Hills, CA. Hourly $17–$23; deliver luxury clienteling and sales excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service and cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
- Implement consultative selling behaviours to meet and exceed individual and store sales plans.
- Build and maintain a personal clientele base through outreach, follow-up and in-store engagement.
- Maintain deep product knowledge across contemporary and designer brands offered in the department.
- Collaborate with vendor partners to drive sales through events, trunk shows and promotional initiatives.
- Support store operations and perform ad hoc responsibilities as required to maintain service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of retail sales success with demonstrable client-focused results.
- Strong passion for and knowledge of contemporary and designer fashion.
- Goal-driven, dependable and able to elevate team performance.
- Confident communicator with the ability to offer a consultative, relationship-oriented sales approach.
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge and apply it to selling and client development.
Skills
Experience
Demonstrated retail sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets; experience building and managing a clientele base and working collaboratively with brand/vendor partners is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or diploma in fashion, retail, merchandising or business is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17 to USD 23 per hour.
