Saks Fifth Avenue — Beverly Hills is hiring a Sales Manager, Women's Shoes to lead footwear sales, client development and team coaching.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the in-store sales experience for the women's footwear department and drive achievement of sales targets and client development objectives.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain high-calibre selling talent; oversee scheduling and workforce planning to align with promotional calendars and business needs.
  • Coach, mentor and develop direct reports through continuous education, product training, targeted selling practices and performance management.
  • Model and enforce Saks policies and service standards; resolve associate conflicts and escalations with fairness and minimal disruption.
  • Design and execute clienteling and customer acquisition initiatives, including client appointments, events and targeted outreach to increase wallet share and repeat business.
  • Leverage clienteling tools, social media (social selling) and data-driven analysis to identify client trends, recommend targeted actions and optimise sales performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with store leadership, merchants, marketing and vendors to plan and deliver seamless client experiences and in-store activations.
  • Maintain stockroom and audit controls as applicable and foster a culture of sharing best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience supervising and developing a team of direct reports in a retail selling environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing selling and operations staff and delivering measurable business results.
  • Proficiency with clienteling tools, social media for social selling, and Google Workspace; advanced proficiency preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to structure messages clearly and choose appropriate media.
  • Keen attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritise and make data-informed decisions.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand, bend and lift up to 10 pounds.
