Role & Responsibilities
- Own the sales experience for the Women’s Shoes & Handbags department and drive achievement of sales and client development goals.
- Recruit, onboard and develop a high-performing selling team; set clear goals, deliver coaching, and manage performance and schedules.
- Model and teach exceptional clienteling and selling behaviors; maintain high visibility on the selling floor to coach and mentor associates.
- Execute client development initiatives and collaborate with store leadership, marketing, merchants and vendors to plan events and targeted outreach.
- Leverage clienteling tools and data to identify client patterns, increase wallet share, acquire new clients and drive repeat business.
- Ensure compliance with department and stockroom controls, promote a culture of accountability, and resolve team or customer escalations promptly.
- Champion change initiatives, share best practices across teams, and use critical thinking and data to solve operational challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience leading a selling and operations workforce with direct reports.
- Track record of achieving business results through team leadership, coaching and performance management.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social selling via social media platforms, and Google Workspace (advanced proficiency preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; physical ability to stand, bend and lift up to 10 pounds.

Relevant retail leadership experience with supervisory responsibility; demonstrated success managing a selling team and delivering sales and operational results.
Education
4-year degree preferred.
