Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the in‑store sales experience and be accountable for achieving departmental sales and client development goals.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain high‑quality selling talent while building a robust internal bench.
  • Coach, train and develop direct reports—driving clienteling, selling behaviors and product knowledge through ongoing education and performance management.
  • Maintain high visibility on the selling floor to model exceptional service, mentor associates and manage escalations.
  • Plan and execute client development initiatives and in‑store events in partnership with store leadership, merchants and marketing to grow wallet share and new client acquisition.
  • Leverage clienteling tools, social selling and data insights to identify patterns in client spend and create targeted outreach.
  • Establish staffing and scheduling aligned to promotional calendars and business needs while enforcing policies, stockroom controls and audit compliance.
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance metrics, and use critical thinking and data to remove roadblocks and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading and supervising a selling and operations workforce with direct reports.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales results through team development and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency with clienteling tools, social media for social selling, and Google Workspace (advanced proficiency preferred).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; able to stand, bend and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Preferred: luxury retail fashion experience and a 4‑year degree.
