Role & Responsibilities
- Own the in‑store sales experience and drive attainment of sales and client development targets for the department and store.
- Recruit, onboard and build a high‑performing team of client advisors; manage scheduling and staffing to align with promotional and business needs.
- Coach, mentor and performance‑manage direct reports through regular feedback, calibration and development planning.
- Lead client development initiatives including targeted outreach, appointment planning and execution of in‑store events to grow wallet share and repeat business.
- Model and reinforce exceptional clienteling and service behaviors on the selling floor; maintain high visibility to develop selling skills across the team.
- Leverage clienteling tools, social media and data analysis to identify client patterns, increase new client acquisition and inform selling strategies.
- Implement department plans and remedial actions, anticipate risks and remove roadblocks to ensure operational excellence.
- Support audit compliance, enforce stockroom and departmental controls, and resolve customer and associate escalations with minimal disruption.
- Champion change initiatives and share best practices across the store and wider organization.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience leading a team of direct reports in a selling and operations environment.
- Track record of achieving business results through team development and disciplined execution.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social selling via social media platforms, and Google Workspace (advanced proficiency preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand, bend and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
