Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills seeks a Sales Manager to lead client development, coach a selling team, and drive luxury retail sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the in-store sales experience and accountable results for the Fifth Avenue Club department, translating company objectives into measurable store-level plans.
  • Recruit, onboard, train and retain selling talent; build a sustainable talent bench and oversee scheduling to meet promotional and business needs.
  • Coach, evaluate and develop direct reports through regular feedback, performance calibration, goal-setting and career-pathing.
  • Role model and drive exceptional client service and relationship building, managing client appointments, outreach and event execution to increase retention and wallet share.
  • Leverage clienteling tools, social selling and data-driven methods to identify high-potential clients, increase acquisition and grow repeat business.
  • Partner cross-functionally with store leadership, marketing, merchants and vendors to execute client development initiatives and in-store experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with department and stockroom controls, support audit processes and maintain operational standards.
  • Analyze business drivers, customer trends and performance metrics to recommend and implement improvements; champion change initiatives and share best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience managing a selling and operations workforce with a demonstrated record of achieving sales results.
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, coaching and developing retail sales teams; strong people-management and performance-management skills.
  • Proficiency using clienteling tools, social media for social selling, and Google Workspace; advanced proficiency preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 10 pounds.

Experience
