The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, presentation, maintenance, and fulfillment, reporting to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager. The role is full-time and includes merchandise handling, order fulfillment, customer service, and flexible scheduling; compensation is $17.05–$21.32 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
- Maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards in accordance with direction and visual standards.
- Participate in store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
- Locate merchandise requested by customers and complete their orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Handle additional ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts; lift up to 50 pounds.
- Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with state driver’s license standards; applicable at select locations.
