Role & Responsibilities
- Manage table pacing and guest interactions with gracious, sophisticated hospitality befitting luxury fine dining
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food menu, including preparation methods, ingredients, and culinary terminology to describe dishes and handle dietary restrictions
- Leverage strong foundational knowledge of premium wine, beer, and spirits to offer tailored pairings and execute flawless beverage service
- Execute all pre-shift, post-shift, daily, and weekly side-work duties as assigned by management
- Follow strict brand guidelines regarding proper order of service and correct placement of fine china, luxury glassware, and flatware
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain server workstations and active dining areas to ensure spotless floor environment
- Assist with physical mechanics of the dining room, safely moving or lifting service objects including tables and chairs
- Adhere strictly to established accounting procedures for guest transactions, accurately managing split checks and payment methods within the POS system
- Participate actively in daily pre-shift meetings to review covers, VIP reservations, and culinary updates
- Maintain highest level of personal hygiene and luxury presentation standards, including clean, pressed uniform and professionally groomed appearance
- Arrive on time, fully dressed in proper uniform, and prepared with necessary tools to perform daily duties
- Exercise absolute integrity with scheduling by accurately punching in/out and coordinating meal breaks seamlessly with the floor team
- Follow established restaurant procedures for schedule changes and coordinate time-off requests proactively with management
Qualifications
- Fluency in food and beverage service terminology and techniques
- Strong foundational knowledge of premium wine, beer, and spirits
- Ability to multitask with grace in a fast-paced luxury dining environment
- Proficiency with POS systems and payment processing
