Saks Fifth Avenue in Greenwich, CT is hiring a Merchandising Operations Associate to support merchandise processing, placement and fulfillment (hourly role).
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise, prepare and place product on the selling floor according to visual and presentation standards.
- Maintain floor standards through regular recovery, replenishment and presentation adjustments.
- Locate and fulfill customer orders placed in-store or online, completing pick/pack and handoff processes accurately and promptly.
- Operate handheld RF devices and store systems to update inventory, complete transactions, and communicate with merchandising teams.
- Support ad hoc store projects and cross-functional tasks as needed, including temporary assignments to other selling areas.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and manage racks and carts of merchandise safely.
- Proven reliability with a flexible schedule and willingness to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Proficiency using store technology (RF guns, PC, iOS devices) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Comfortable adapting communication style to diverse colleagues and customers; strong interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles when required (subject to state requirements).
Skills
Experience
Entry-level to junior; prior retail, stockroom, or merchandising experience is advantageous but not required. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced store environment and meet operational targets is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
