Saks Fifth Avenue in New York seeks a part-time Merchandise Operations Associate ($19.61–$24.51/hr) to support merchandising, fulfillment and floor operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and execute placement and presentation on the selling floor in accordance with visual standards.
- Maintain merchandising standards through regular floor recovery, supply replenishment and presentation upkeep.
- Locate merchandise within the store and complete customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Provide responsive, service-oriented support to customers and internal partners to address needs and resolve issues.
- Operate store technology and equipment (RF guns, PCs, iOS devices) to support inventory workflows and proprietary platforms.
- Participate in ad hoc store projects and perform other duties as assigned, including occasional driving of company vehicle where required.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and handle racks and carts of merchandise safely.
- Demonstrated attention to visual merchandising standards and the ability to follow direction to maintain presentation.
- Proficiency with retail technology including RF guns, PC and iOS devices; familiarity with Excel and Word and proprietary retail platforms.
- Flexible availability to work hours that meet business needs, including weekends and peak periods as required.
- Valid driver’s license meeting state requirements for roles that require driving company vehicles (select doors only).

Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail, stockroom or merchandising experience preferred — particularly in a high-volume or luxury retail environment. Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced store operations is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
