Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach the merchandise operations team, overseeing daily scheduling, training, and performance management
- Maintain daily merchandise operations including inbound processing to DTF standard, floor placement, transfers, RTVs, price changes, and event setup
- Lead and enforce merchandise placement and presentation standards throughout the store
- Drive profitability through execution of MOA KPIs and results-oriented leadership
- Organize and maintain the back-of-house environment to optimize selling floor support
- Participate in store initiatives including merchandise fill-in, floor recovery, and supply replenishment as needed
- Oversee omni-channel fulfillment operations, including merchandise location, dashboard maintenance, and order completion
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular review of inventory exception reports
- Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager of Operations and corporate teams on weekly and monthly workload planning
- Implement store policies and best practices, offering recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Ability to supervise and train team members in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong understanding of merchandising standards and visual presentation compliance
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks consistently
- Flexibility to work variable schedules according to business needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and retail management technology systems
- Physical capability to lift cartons up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle racks and merchandise carts
- Attention to detail and organizational skills in personal work management
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in retail operations, merchandise management, or warehouse operations with demonstrated supervisory or lead responsibilities preferred. Experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with exposure to omni-channel retail operations is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
