Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all store merchandise operations, ensuring seamless flow of product from receipt to sales floor and driving operational excellence across processing, merchandising, fulfillment, and back-of-house organization.
- Recruit, develop and coach a high-performing Merchandise Operations team; set objectives, monitor performance and manage schedules to meet business needs.
- Plan and allocate resources to meet deadlines and support the selling organization during events and peak periods.
- Ensure new receipts are received, processed and merchandised to visual standards and are floor-ready prior to store opening (door-to-floor principles).
- Oversee outbound processing (RTVs/transfers), execute price changes and event setup, and maintain back-of-house organization to support selling.
- Manage fulfillment operations including scheduling, dashboard maintenance and oversight of order processing to meet KPIs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular review of inventory exception reports and corrective actions.
- Drive achievement of operational KPIs and continuously seek process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Availability for a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment, preferably in visual merchandising or store operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes (approx. 25–50 lbs), maneuver rolling equipment and climb safety ladders (~6 ft).
- Proven ability to lead teams with both assertiveness and diplomacy, drive results through metrics, and course-correct in a fast-paced environment.

3–5 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment, with demonstrated responsibility in visual merchandising, store operations or merchandise processing.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail merchandising, supply chain or related field preferred.
