Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston seeks a Part‑Time Merchandise Operations Associate. Onsite role; hourly pay $17.90–$22.39. Fulfillment, merchandising and stock support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound shipments and prepare merchandise for presentation on the selling floor, ensuring timely placement and accurate tagging.
- Execute visual and placement standards as directed, maintaining store presentation and merchandising integrity.
- Locate and retrieve merchandise to fulfill customer orders placed in-store or digitally; complete order packaging and hand-off per store procedures.
- Perform floor recovery, supply replenishment and ad hoc merchandising projects to support store operations and peak demand periods.
- Provide responsive, high‑quality customer service while resolving stock or fulfillment issues and escalating when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move cartons, racks and carts of merchandise — up to 50 pounds — and to climb ladders as required.
- Working knowledge of visual merchandising standards and the discipline to maintain presentation quality.
- Proficiency with store technology including RF guns, PC and iOS devices; functional knowledge of Excel and Word and willingness to learn proprietary retail platforms.
- Flexible availability to work a retail schedule, including nights, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle when required (subject to local driving requirements).
Skills
Experience
Preferred: prior experience in retail merchandising, stockroom operations or order fulfillment; experience in luxury or high‑service retail environments is an asset. Entry‑level candidates with retail exposure will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational training or coursework in retail merchandising, logistics or supply‑chain operations is a plus.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.90 to USD 22.39 per hour.
