Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment, under the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager.
- Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
- Maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards according to direction and visual standards.
- Assist with store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
- Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Evaluate progress against key performance drivers and assess organizational opportunities and risks.
- Drive positive outcomes through objectives and measures while monitoring progress and results.
- Generate and share original ideas to address simple and complex problems.
- Take on ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Able to lift cartons weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts.
- Able to retain merchandising standards on the selling floor in compliance with visual standards.
- Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PC, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Able to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with applicable state driver's license standards, at select doors.
