Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
- Maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards in accordance with direction and visual standards.
- Participate in other store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
- Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Support daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment.
- Communicate flexibly across styles and establish positive interpersonal relationships.
- Evaluate progress against key performance drivers and assess organizational opportunities and risks.
- Drive positive outcomes through objectives and measures while monitoring progress and results.
- Generate and share original ideas and address both simple and complex problems.
- Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Able to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to maintain floor merchandising standards in compliance with visual standards.
- Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PC, iOS device, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
- Able to work a flexible schedule in line with business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Able to drive a company vehicle as needed, in accordance with state driver's license standards; applies to select stores only.
