The Merchandise Operations Associate supports the daily operations of merchandise processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment under the supervision of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor. The role involves processing inbound merchandise, ensuring proper placement and presentation on the selling floor in accordance with visual standards, and locating and fulfilling customer orders with excellent service. The incumbent will demonstrate flexibility in communication, generate solutions to operational challenges, and participate in store projects including floor recovery and supply replenishment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and oversee placement and presentation on the selling floor in compliance with visual merchandising standards
- Locate requested merchandise and complete customer orders while providing excellent service and addressing customer needs promptly
- Maintain merchandise displays and floor presentation standards across all departmental areas
- Participate in store projects including floor recovery, supply replenishment, and ad hoc operational tasks as needed
- Operate point-of-sale systems, RF guns, iOS devices, and proprietary platforms to support inventory and fulfillment operations
- Work flexible schedules in response to business needs and follow through on assigned responsibilities with accountability
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift cartons weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts
- Proficiency with computer systems including RF guns, personal computers, iOS devices, Microsoft Excel and Word, and proprietary retail platforms
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles when required (select locations only)
- Demonstrated ability to retain merchandising and visual standards in a fast-paced environment
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in retail operations, merchandise handling, or warehouse environments is beneficial but not required. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; entry-level candidates with demonstrated reliability and work ethic will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.05 to USD 21.32 per hour.
