Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and ensure accurate placement and presentation on the selling floor in accordance with visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain and refresh floor presentation, participate in floor recovery, and assist with supply replenishment to preserve store standards.
- Locate and pick merchandise for customer orders and complete in-store or omnichannel fulfillment requests promptly and accurately.
- Provide attentive customer service when retrieving merchandise and address customer needs with urgency and professionalism.
- Support ad hoc store projects and cross-functional tasks as required, including merchandising fill-in and participation in store initiatives.
- Operate store technology and equipment (RF guns, handheld devices, PCs) safely and follow procedures for handling carts, racks and ladders.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry and maneuver cartons and racks — up to 50 pounds — and to climb ladders as required.
- Proven ability to follow visual merchandising standards and sustain high presentation quality on the sales floor.
- Proficiency with retail technology and basic computer applications; ability to learn proprietary store platforms.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle in accordance with state requirements (select doors only).
- Flexible availability to work a schedule aligned with store business needs and to follow through on assigned tasks reliably.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in retail merchandising, stockroom operations, or order fulfilment is preferred; however, the role is suitable for candidates with limited retail experience who demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and comfort using retail technology.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
