The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise processing, placement, maintenance, presentation, and fulfillment at Saks Fifth Avenue in Greenwich. Role & Responsibilities
- Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
- Maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards as directed.
- Support other store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
- Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer needs.
- Carry out other ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Able to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with visual standards.
- Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
- Able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Able to drive a company vehicle as needed in accordance with state driver’s license standards (select locations only).
