Role & Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between store-based Area Marketing Directors and vendors/merchants in planning and execution of in-store events and experiences
- Own budgeting, funding approvals, expense forecasting, and ROI tracking for store marketing and charity budgets
- Manage event concepting and strategic planning processes as well as client acquisition and retention efforts with Area Marketing Directors
- Oversee the tactical alignment of merchant and vendor event requests with specific store strategies and market needs
- Uphold, enhance, and audit Saks brand standards across all event initiatives and customer touchpoints
- Partner with the Saks Limitless team (VIP customer segment) on high-level customer travel, events, and exclusive experiences
- Liaise with merchant, vendor, and local store marketing teams on creative development and execution of successful events
- Attend and support high-level events across the United States and Canada as required
- Serve as voice of innovation and creativity, drawing inspiration from culture, customers, and adjacent industries
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of event-related experience in fashion, entertainment, or retail industries
- University or college degree
- Strong business and financial analysis capabilities
- Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans
- Strong retail math acumen
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and highly effective manner

3–5 years of event-related experience in fashion, entertainment, or retail environments. Demonstrated track record of developing and executing strategic plans, managing complex vendor relationships, and delivering results within budgetary constraints.
