Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service following Saks selling principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) and act as the brand ambassador for the Trish McEvoy counter.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event and department sales targets through proactive selling and appointment-driven consultations.
- Conduct pre-booked facial consultations and professional make-up applications, converting trials into retail sales and follow-up appointments.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system to record client profiles, preferences and purchase history to drive repeat business.
- Maintain counter merchandising and visual standards to ensure a clean, inviting and well-stocked selling environment.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and vendor Account Executives to maximize promotional and event performance.
- Prioritize follow-up and post-sale clienteling to cultivate long-term customer relationships and grow owned business.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving measurable results.
- Proven ability to perform professional make-up application and treatment consultations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create personalized client experiences and build lasting relationships.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary clienteling and in-store sales tools.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with minimal supervision and sound business judgment.

Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience, ideally in a cosmetics or beauty specialty environment, with a proven track record of exceeding individual sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training or certification in cosmetics/makeup artistry preferred.
