Role & Responsibilities
- Guide the Saks clienteling culture and leverage technology to increase overall business and customer engagement
- Coach Selling Managers to lead selling activities and model clienteling behaviors across assigned departments
- Champion technology adoption to enhance sales performance and service quality
- Maintain a visible floor presence to ensure operational excellence and customer experience standards
- Provide ongoing product knowledge education and training to the sales team
- Directly oversee the majority of Selling Managers and coordinate with Divisional Merchandise Managers, Buyers, and Regional Store Merchandising
- Develop and prepare top-performing Selling Managers for promotion to higher leadership roles
- Lead ongoing training programs for Brand Ambassadors to enhance their capabilities
- Identify competitor talent and recruit top-performing sales associates
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to ensure top talent is strategically placed in priority business areas
- Manage substandard performance and conduct coaching conversations in partnership with the Employee Relations Service Center
- Create clienteling behaviors through targeted marketing outreach and promotional campaigns
- Foster a collaborative store climate that supports Selling Managers in achieving marketing event and sales goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (4-year institution)
- 3+ years of management experience within retail or luxury fashion environments
- Proven track record of developing, managing, and motivating sales teams while driving company-wide initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in using retail technology platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Full geographic mobility required
- Ability to work effectively in remote and on-site environments
- Proven thought leadership with quantifiable success in complex organizational settings

3+ years of progressive management experience in retail operations, with demonstrated success leading and developing sales teams, managing performance, and driving revenue targets within large, complex retail organizations.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution required.
