The Fashion Consultant develops an individual personal-shopping business at the Saks Fifth Avenue Fifth Avenue Club, building client relationships, establishing new accounts, sourcing products across inventory networks, and growing sales through events and digital clienteling. This is an onsite, full-time role; compensation varies by location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships, delivering a high level of customer service in an exclusive setting.
- Develop an individual personal-shopping business by establishing new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts and driving Fifth Avenue Club sales.
- Use Club events to recruit new clients, increase sales, and develop existing client relationships.
- Share ideas with the Fifth Avenue Club team to develop business opportunities and maximize sales against goals.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences.
- Source products for client appointments through Saks Fifth Avenue inventory networks, including flagship stores, the digital “endless aisle,” and distribution centers.
- Engage with clients and conduct basic alteration fittings with guidance and training from the Alterations Director.
- Maintain a digital presence to attract clients and promote the business through traditional channels and social media selling.
- Represent Saks Fifth Avenue as a community and brand ambassador.
- Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of retail experience in a customer-focused luxury sales environment.
- Experience with luxury fashion and lifestyle.
- Experience working with sales quotas and comfort meeting sales targets in a commission-based selling environment.
- An established network or client base across multiple social media platforms, with the ability to support business digitally through content creation.
- Experience executing events.
