Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the store’s clienteling and selling culture by coaching and mentoring the Client Development team to maximise VIP and repeat client engagement.
- Directly oversee Client Development Managers (except within Fifth Avenue Club Personal Shopping), setting performance objectives and monitoring results.
- Act as a deputy to the Flagship VP/GM: execute the VP/GM’s strategic vision and, in their absence, lead store senior leadership meetings.
- Serve as the store’s chief merchant partner—ensure merchandise assortment and presentation align to local customer needs and sales opportunity.
- Drive achievement of sales, growth and profitability goals in partnership with merchants, planning and other functional leads.
- Develop and implement client events, loyalty initiatives and in-store selling programs to grow meaningful customer relationships.
- Analyse customer behaviour, market trends and sales metrics to adjust selling strategies and focus programs.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication across store departments to optimise collaborative execution of initiatives.
- Build and manage a high-performing selling organisation through recruitment, development, recognition and retention of talent.
- Oversee floor coverage, customer service escalations and the operational delivery of elevated in-store client experiences.
Qualifications
- 100% open availability and willingness to relocate within the United States during the development program and for future store leadership assignments.
- Minimum of 5+ years of luxury retail management experience with demonstrable results in high-volume environments.
- Proven experience designing and leading clienteling and loyalty-driven initiatives (e.g., VIC programs, client events, brand ambassadorship).
- Executive presence with experience presenting business trends and financials to senior leadership.
- Track record of developing and promoting people leaders and building bench strength across selling teams.
- Flexible availability to support business needs including evenings, weekends and holiday schedules.

Experience
At least five years of progressive luxury retail management experience in fast-paced, high-sales-volume environments, with demonstrable success building clienteling cultures and developing management talent.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality or a related discipline preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 125,631 to USD 157,039 per annum.
