Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class client service from approach through application, closing the sale and follow-up, modelling Saks Fifth Avenue service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line and event sales objectives through proactive selling and effective clienteling.
• Manage and grow a personal client book using Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record preferences and drive repeat business.
• Execute professional make-up and facial consultations and lead pre-booked facial events to generate services and retail sales.
• Maintain counter standards and merchandising to ensure a clean, well-stocked and welcoming selling environment.
• Act as a liaison with Account Executives and vendor partners to maximise brand presentation and promotional activity.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail experience; cosmetics or beauty retail background strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a customer‑facing environment.
• Proven ability to conduct professional make-up and treatment consultations and applications.
• Comfortable learning and using proprietary clienteling tools and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong organizational skills, sound business judgment and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Skills

Experience

At least one year of retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or beauty; prior demonstrated success against sales targets and experience running service-led selling events (e.g., facial bookings) is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or makeup artistry certification preferred but not required.
