Role & Responsibilities
- Model and exemplify Saks Fifth Avenue service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) in all customer interactions
- Achieve and exceed individual sales goals, vendor line sales objectives, event sales targets, and department daily and monthly sales goals
- Create and develop strong customer relationships by providing expert brand knowledge and consistent high-level customer service
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences for business development
- Conduct pre-booked facial consultation events and provide professional makeup application and skincare treatment consultations
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring the selling area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Serve as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and designated Account Executive, maintaining a positive professional image
- Provide exceptional customer experience from initial approach through post-sale follow-up
- Work collaboratively with team members and independently to drive a successful business in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment
- Demonstrated successful sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and proprietary software systems
- Professional makeup application and skincare consultation expertise
- Strong organizational and business judgment capabilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused setting, preferably within cosmetics. Previously demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding individual sales quotas required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; professional makeup artistry certification or cosmetics training a plus.
