Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service across approach, consultation, application and sale closure, modelling Saks Fifth Avenue selling principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and department sales targets, including event and pre-booked consultation goals.
- Develop and maintain client relationships using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system to record preferences, follow up and grow repeat business.
- Execute professional make-up and facial treatment consultations and demonstrations; close retail sales effectively.
- Maintain counter standards: merchandising, cleanliness and a welcoming selling environment.
- Serve as liaison with brand Account Executives, represent the brand positively and support in-house training and vendor-led activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and targets.
- Demonstrable proficiency in make-up application and facial treatment consultation.
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced, multi-tasking, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Competence in using clienteling tools and proprietary retail software; strong organisational and business judgment.
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal communication skills.
