Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary customer service following Saks principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) to create and grow client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event and department sales goals.
- Provide professional make-up and treatment consultations, perform applications and close retail sales.
- Manage and grow a personal client base using Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling resource tool.
- Support in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events to drive brand penetration.
- Maintain counter standards and merchandising to ensure a clean, inviting selling environment.
- Liaise with Account Executives and vendor partners to represent the brand and expand Saks Fifth Avenue accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Proficiency in make-up consultation and application; comfortable leading treatment demonstrations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities independently.
- Familiarity with clienteling or CRM tools and willingness to adopt proprietary systems.
- Strong organizational skills, sound business judgment and attention to detail.

Experience
Minimum of one year of retail experience, ideally within a cosmetics or beauty counter environment, with demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and building client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or related certification preferred.
