Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston seeks a Beauty Advisor (Chantecaille) to deliver makeup and skincare consultations; $20.12–$25.15/hr, full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, consultative customer service across the Chantecaille cosmetics counter from approach to application, closing and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event and departmental sales targets; proactively drive personal sales results using clienteling.
- Conduct pre-booked facial consultation events and in-house training sessions; provide professional make-up and treatment consultations and applications.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling tools and online clienteling resource to record preferences and follow up.
- Maintain counter presentation and merchandising standards to ensure a clean, organized and inviting selling environment.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager, brand Account Executive and store team to support promotional events and vendor initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in cosmetics or a customer-focused beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving measurable vendor line performance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in professional make-up application, facial treatments and beauty consultations.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and exercise sound business judgment with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary clienteling tools and store systems; strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in cosmetics or beauty counters and who have a demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets and running consultation-based events.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or cosmetology training in makeup/skincare is an asset.
