Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston seeks a Cosmetics Business Manager (Beauty Advisor - Jo Malone). Full-time, $26.24–$32.80/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal and daily sales strategies for a designated beauty brand to achieve daily and monthly targets.
- Drive client development and ensure an exceptional, consultative customer experience including product consultations and applications.
- Hire, train and develop the Merchandise Operations team and lead ongoing coaching, performance management and goal setting.
- Oversee inbound and outbound merchandise processing to ensure timely floor replenishment and accuracy of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with store audit standards and maintain inventory accuracy through oversight of exception reports.
- Coordinate pricing, markdowns, re-ticketing, repairs, returns to vendor (RTV) and other merchandising workflows.
- Collaborate with store leadership to resolve communication, direction and store flow challenges and perform ad hoc operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a client-driven sales environment; beauty experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership through development and management of direct reports.
- Proven ability to recruit, motivate and retain retail team members.
- Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable performing product consultations and make-up/skincare applications.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail experience, ideally within a client-focused beauty or cosmetics environment; demonstrable experience developing direct reports and driving sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary coursework or degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
