Saks Fifth Avenue (Houston) is hiring a Beauty Advisor (Jo Malone) — full-time, hourly $19–$23, delivering luxury beauty consultations and driving client sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional luxury-level client service following Saks Fifth Avenue principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event, and departmental sales targets through proactive selling and follow-up.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships as the brand expert and department representative, including pre-booked facial consultations and treatment applications.
- Drive business using Saks’ clienteling tools: record client preferences, manage appointments and follow-up communications to maximise repeat purchase.
- Maintain counter standards and merchandising to present a clean, inviting and fully stocked selling area.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and the Cosmetics Selling Manager to support vendor initiatives and in-house training programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or customer-focused beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrable competence in professional make-up application and treatment consultation.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, sound business judgment and organizational skills.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary clienteling software and online sales tools.

Experience
Minimum of one year of retail experience, ideally within a cosmetics or premium beauty environment, with documented sales success and quota attainment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or esthetician certification preferred but not required.
