Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador of store presentation standards, ensuring merchandise and departmental displays meet Saks Fifth Avenue and brand-specific requirements.
- Maintain daily merchandising on the selling floor with focused attention to priority areas (e.g., Shoes, Handbags, Men’s Advanced Designer, Sale).
- Support and execute large-scale relayering and visual projects under direction of the Visual Manager.
- Apply a “close-to-open” approach to support closing routines and prepare the sales floor for opening.
- Partner closely with Style Advisors and selling teams to elevate floor presentation and preserve the client experience.
- Mirror Style Advisors’ schedules to provide coverage when presentation is most at risk and act as liaison between operations and sales.
- Coach and assist fellow Brand Steward Associates in presentation standards and ad hoc training as required.
- Proactively identify opportunities to maintain and elevate standards and complete assigned tasks with minimal disruption.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail or other fast-paced customer-facing environments.
- Demonstrable understanding of visual merchandising and the Company’s presentation standards.
- Flexible availability including opening, late-day, weekend and holiday shifts.
- Professional, polished demeanor and the ability to interact respectfully with colleagues and clients.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail or similarly fast-paced environments; prior exposure to visual merchandising, store presentation or luxury retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational coursework or certification in visual merchandising or retail operations is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.61 to USD 24.51 per hour.
