Role & Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of store presentation standards across the sales floor, ensuring merchandise, brand-specific requirements and Saks expectations are consistently met.
- Maintain and refresh floor presentation continuously, with focused attention to key areas such as Shoes, Handbags, Men’s Advanced Designer and Sale.
- Support and execute large-scale relayering and visual projects from close-to-open, participating in both planning and hands-on implementation.
- Partner with Style Advisors and selling teams to align floor presentation with merchandising strategies and enhance the client shopping experience.
- Train and mentor fellow Brand Steward Associates on standards and best practices; provide ad hoc support and recommendations to elevate departmental standards.
- Demonstrate a professional, polished demeanor while completing operational tasks and responding proactively to presentation issues.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail or other fast-paced customer-facing environments.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and company presentation standards and a strong understanding of the Saks brand.
- Flexible availability including opening, late-day, holiday and weekend shifts to mirror selling schedules.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully with colleagues and clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
