Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston is hiring a Beauty Advisor. Hourly $15.00–$23.10. Provide Lancôme consultations and drive luxury beauty sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalised beauty consultations, makeup application and treatment advice to deliver an exceptional customer experience from approach to follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line (Lancôme) and department sales goals, including event and daily/monthly targets.
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record client data, preferences and follow-up actions to drive repeat business.
- Maintain a professionally merchandised, clean and welcoming counter that reflects Saks Fifth Avenue standards.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and vendor Account Executive to support in-house training, pre-booked facial consultation events and promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPI targets.
- Demonstrable professional makeup application and treatment consultation skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational skills, sound business judgment and attention to detail.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail experience, with previous cosmetics or beauty-focused selling preferred and a demonstrated history of exceeding sales objectives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification is advantageous.
