Saks Fifth Avenue seeks a Beauty Sales Manager in Boston, MA to lead clienteling, coach a high-performing beauty team, and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the in-store beauty sales experience, setting standards for service, clienteling and sales performance across the beauty floor.
  • Coach and develop a team of Business Managers and Beauty Advisors through onboarding, product education and ongoing performance management.
  • Drive client development by cultivating deep relationships, maximising appointment productivity and increasing repeat business and wallet share.
  • Leverage technology and data—including clienteling tools and SFA platforms—to inform outreach, personalise recommendations and stimulate new client acquisition.
  • Activate social and digital channels to expand personal and store reach, encouraging advisors to build their professional brands and referral networks.
  • Partner with brand representatives and internal store leadership to deliver targeted trainings, in-store activations and merchandising initiatives.
  • Recruit local talent, manage performance issues, and create succession plans to maintain bench strength and continuity.
  • Serve as a management presence on the selling floor, resolve client escalations and support opening/closing and daily operational duties.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capability with the aptitude to coach, motivate and hold a sales team accountable to KPIs.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving beauty or cosmetics sales and achieving measurable growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse client data and translate insights into targeted selling strategies.
  • Advanced product knowledge across beauty and skincare categories or a clear willingness to develop technical expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; polished client-facing demeanour appropriate for a luxury retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.

Experience
