Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client experiences from approach through application to close, modelling Saks’ selling principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line and event sales targets, proactively driving sales through client outreach and follow-up.
- Conduct professional make-up and facial treatment consultations and applications, and manage pre-booked facial consultation events.
- Utilise Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system to record client profiles, preferences and purchase history to grow repeat business.
- Maintain counter standards and merchandising to ensure a clean, inviting and brand-appropriate selling environment.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and the cosmetics team to represent vendor relationships and support in-store initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrable ability to perform professional make-up application and treatment consultations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities independently.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools and basic retail systems; ability to learn proprietary software.
