Role & Responsibilities
- Model Saks Fifth Avenue service principles: greet, relate, exceed, attend and thank.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event and department sales goals through consultative selling and expert product knowledge.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences from approach and application to closing the sale and post‑sale follow-up.
- Develop and maintain lasting client relationships and proactively grow a personal client base using Saks’ clienteling system.
- Represent assigned brands and act as a liaison with Account Executives and vendor partners.
- Support in‑house training programs and pre‑booked facial consultation events; perform professional makeup and treatment consultations and application.
- Maintain counter merchandising and visual standards; ensure a clean, well‑presented selling area.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or beauty environment.
- Proven sales performance with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Professional makeup and treatment consultation/application skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and to multitask with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational ability, sound business judgment and attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary online clienteling tools.

Experience
At least one year of frontline retail experience, ideally within a cosmetics-focused environment, with demonstrable success in sales targets, client consultations and participation in branded events or facial consultations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional cosmetology or makeup certification is advantageous.
