Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service across approach, application and post-sale follow-up, modelling Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank).
- Drive individual and vendor line sales, exceed quota and meet department daily and monthly sales targets.
- Provide professional make-up and treatment consultation, perform product application and pre-booked facial consultation services.
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record client information, preferences and follow-up activities to grow and sustain a personal client base.
- Maintain merchandising and counter standards, ensuring a clean, well-presented and welcoming selling environment.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager, vendor representatives and store team to support events, launches and promotional activity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or beauty-focused environment.
- Proven sales performance with history of meeting or exceeding individual sales targets.
- Demonstrable professional make-up application and treatment consultation skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable learning and using proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
- Strong organisation, sound business judgement and a proactive, client-focused disposition.

Experience
Minimum of one year of retail sales experience, preferably in cosmetics or beauty, with demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and building repeat client relationships.
