Role & Responsibilities
- Model all Saks Fifth Avenue customer service principles including greeting, relating, exceeding expectations, attending to client needs, and thanking customers
- Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales goals, and department daily and monthly sales targets
- Maintain exceptional customer service by building and developing strong customer relationships as brand expert and department representative
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information, preferences, and purchase history to drive individual business
- Execute professional makeup and skincare consultations with a focus on application expertise and product recommendations
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming selling environment
- Serve as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and designated brand Account Executives while maintaining a positive professional image
- Execute in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events to drive event-based sales
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics environment
- Demonstrated successful sales experience with history of exceeding quota
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and software platforms
- Professional makeup application and skincare consultation expertise
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and sound business judgment
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently to drive business success
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of customer-focused retail experience, preferably in cosmetics or luxury beauty. Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and building strong customer relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; any professional beauty certification or cosmetics training is advantageous.
