Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and build sales for both personal business and vendor lines.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, open new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts, and work effectively with team members while following company standards and procedures.
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events.
• Maintain a well-merchandised counter and proficiently close retail sales.
• Use Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system to manage and grow personal business.
• Model Saks Fifth Avenue's principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank.
• Meet and exceed individual, vendor line, event, and department daily and monthly sales goals.
• Represent the brand and department as an expert, maintaining strong customer relationships and a high standard of service.
• Serve as a positive liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the designated Account Executive.
• Use Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record client information and preferences.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and application through sale completion and follow-up.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and welcoming.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales performance, including exceeding quota.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, manage multiple tasks, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use Saks Fifth Avenue's proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive approach to the work environment.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to drive business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Ability to provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
