Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, consultative customer service across approach, application and sale-closing to drive individual and vendor line sales.
- Achieve and exceed personal, event and department sales targets; proactively create and manage a personal client book.
- Conduct professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications during scheduled and walk-in appointments, including pre-booked facial consultation events.
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system and online clienteling resource tool to record client profiles, preferences and follow-up actions to grow repeat business.
- Maintain counter standards including visual merchandising, cleanliness and a welcoming selling environment.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager, vendor Account Executives and store colleagues to execute promotions and brand initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience; cosmetics or beauty counter experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrated competency in professional make‑up consultation and application.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, sound business judgment and initiative to grow a personal client base.
- Comfortable learning and using online clienteling tools and proprietary Saks Fifth Avenue software.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience, preferably within a cosmetics or customer-focused beauty environment, with demonstrated sales performance and client service capability.
