Role & Responsibilities
- Focus on achieving and exceeding individual cosmetic sales goals, event sales goals, and department daily and monthly sales targets
- Provide expert makeup and treatment consultation and application to clients
- Maintain a consistent high level of service by developing excellent client relationships as the brand expert and department representative
- Utilize online clienteling resource tools to record and maintain client information and preferences, driving business growth
- Cross-sell across multiple product lines to enhance the client's basket and increase average transaction value
- Actively participate on social media platforms (Instagram, etc.) to grow personal brand and business presence
- Identify client needs through skilled questioning and provide personalized guidance and product recommendations
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming retail environment
- Participate in training on in-store services and proactively recommend services to enhance the client shopping experience
- Focus all efforts on providing an exceptional client experience from initial approach through application, sale closure, and post-sale follow-up
- Serve as a positive liaison between the company and brand Account Executives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience within the beauty or cosmetics industry
- Demonstrated successful sales experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize online clienteling tools and software
- Comfort and proficiency with social media platforms and digital technology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to flex all communication styles
- Strong problem-solving abilities with capacity to generate innovative solutions
- Ability to actively collaborate and contribute to a positive and inclusive team dynamic
- Excellent listening skills and sense of timing in client interactions
