Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized beauty consultations and product demonstrations from approach through application to sale and post-sale follow-up.
- Drive individual, vendor-line, event, and departmental sales targets through proactive clienteling, pre-booked facial consultations, and conversion of foot traffic.
- Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling resource tool to build and maintain client profiles, record preferences, and execute targeted outreach.
- Maintain counter merchandising and visual standards, ensuring a clean, welcoming and brand-appropriate selling environment.
- Collaborate with the Cosmetics Selling Manager and account executives to represent assigned brands (Chanel) and act as a liaison with vendor partners.
- Participate in in-house training, product launches, and promotional events; manage bookings for facial consultations and other beauty services.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics or prestige beauty environment.
- Proven, quota-driven sales history with documented success meeting or exceeding targets.
- Professional make-up and treatment consultation/application skills appropriate for luxury-brand clientele.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships and act as a brand ambassador.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks independently.
- Proficient in learning and using proprietary clienteling tools and point-of-sale systems.

Experience
Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, ideally within a cosmetics or prestige beauty counter. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and delivering appointment-based facial consultations or similar services.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or aesthetics certification preferred but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.16 to USD 23.95 per hour.
