Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, build individual and vendor-line sales, establish and maintain customer relationships, work effectively with team members, and develop new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts.
• Adhere consistently to company standards and procedures.
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events, maintain a properly merchandised counter, and proficiently close retail sales.
• Use Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system to drive individual business and build success.
• Model Saks Fifth Avenue's principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank.
• Achieve and exceed individual and vendor-line sales goals, event sales goals, and daily and monthly department sales goals.
• Serve as the brand expert and department representative, developing excellent customer relationships and maintaining consistently high customer-service standards.
• Maintain a positive image as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the designated Account Executive.
• Use Saks Fifth Avenue's online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and product application through closing the sale and customer follow-up.
• Maintain counter standards and ensure the selling area is clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Provide professional makeup and treatment consultations and application.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience, exceeding quota.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring substantial multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use Saks Fifth Avenue's proprietary online clienteling tools and software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive approach to the work environment.
• Ability to work effectively with others and independently to drive a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.

Skills

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
