Role & Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and build individual and vendor-line sales volumes.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, work effectively with team members, and establish new Saks Fifth Avenue accounts.
- Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events; maintain a properly merchandised counter and proficiently close retail sales.
- Drive individual business using Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system.
- Model Saks Fifth Avenue’s principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank.
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor-line, event and department daily and monthly sales goals.
- Build excellent customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative, maintaining a consistently high level of service.
- Maintain a positive image as a liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the designated Account Executive.
- Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s online clienteling resource tool to record and maintain client information and preferences.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial approach and product application through sale closing and follow-up.
- Maintain counter standards by keeping the selling area clean, tidy and welcoming.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment.
- Demonstrated successful sales experience exceeding quota.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with substantial multitasking and minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and use online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Saks Fifth Avenue.
- Attention to detail, initiative and a positive approach to the working environment.
- Ability to work well with others and independently to drive a successful business.
- Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
- Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application skills.
